SRX Packaging Clarification:
Regarding international shipping packaging, packaging reflects the sender's responsibility to the customer. International shipping involves multiple stages and long transit times, where squeezing and pressure on goods during transit are inevitable. Therefore, the sender needs to provide qualified and reliable packaging. Proper packaging is a prerequisite for shipping. This includes ensuring each product inside the box is packaged with a qualified and reliable product box, and the outer box is a sturdy cardboard carton with at least five layers. If the packaging is inadequate, resulting in damage or loss of goods at any stage of transportation, SRX will not provide any compensation or handling. This matter needs to be resolved directly between you and your customer. In most cases, SRX will not inspect the packaging after receiving the goods but will send them directly, so please be extremely careful in this regard.
For fragile or bulky goods, please ensure that each item is labeled with at least two "Fragile" stickers. For specific shipping requirements, such as boxes that cannot be overturned or stacked, SRX cannot guarantee 100% compliance after the goods are handed over to the carrier.
For goods transported via container (whether a single item or multiple items as a single shipment), it is essential that each item is marked with a uniform shipping mark. This is extremely important.
SRX Clarification on Additional Costs Beyond International Transportation Fees:
The transportation fees provided by SRX only cover one-way international transportation costs and do not include the following potential charges at the destination:
Remote area surcharges, oversize/overweight surcharges, customs prepayment handling fees, address change fees, residential delivery surcharges, customs inspection fees, designated agent customs clearance fees, high-value item fees, additional charges for customs document modifications, amendment fees, return handling fees for refused shipments, excess limit surcharges, refused delivery fees, detention fees, weekend delivery surcharges, payment information change service fees, excess description fees, non-stackable item surcharges, third-party customs duty surcharges, irregular packaging fees, packaging fees, handling fees, and return shipment costs incurred for any reason due to the return of goods.
SRX Clarification on Delays:
SRX shall not be held liable for any delays or losses caused by delays in air/sea/rail/road transportation due to factors beyond SRX’s control. However, SRX is obligated to take all reasonably required measures to assist the customer in handling and resolving the issue, which is part of SRX's commitment.
SRX does not transport the following items: counterfeit goods, liquids, powders, food, perishables, pharmaceuticals, corrosive materials, flammable and explosive items, military weapons, and other prohibited items. Misrepresentation, smuggling, or prohibited cargo is strictly forbidden. If customs detains or confiscates goods due to such actions, resulting in fines, storage fees, or associated losses, the sender is responsible! Recently, a product called "focusing laser pointer" has appeared on the market. If pointed at flammable objects, it can cause spontaneous combustion. Such products are classified as dangerous goods, and SRX does not accept them for shipment, especially goods declared as "POINTER."
SRX may not always thoroughly inspect whether goods are classified as prohibited or dangerous items; it is the sender's responsibility to declare truthfully or clearly specify to SRX the nature of the goods.
SRX Clarification on Shipping Goods:
SRX only transports ordinary goods that are permitted for export by the Chinese government and meet the import requirements of the destination country. The sender is responsible for understanding and being familiar with the policies and regulations of the destination country. SRX serves over 200 countries and regions worldwide and cannot be expected to know the policies and restrictions of each country. If it is discovered after the goods arrive in the destination country or during transit that the goods do not meet the import requirements or policies of the destination country, any resulting costs and liabilities will be borne by the sender.
SRX Limitation of Liability:
To the extent permitted by law, SRX shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or damages resulting from data loss, business interruption, or the inability to use the SRX website, SRX systems, services, content, or information, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, regardless of whether SRX was advised of the possibility of such damages. Without limiting the foregoing, to the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that the total liability of SRX for any damages or losses, whether by lawsuit or claim, or in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed €100.00 per shipment in any case of transportation conducted by SRX. These terms and conditions provide the exclusive remedies available to you, limited to those expressly set forth herein. Acceptance of SRX’s transportation rates constitutes acceptance of all SRX conditions or industry-standard limitations.
For other disputes, SRX may refer to the standards of the Warsaw Convention.
The following situations are not eligible for any compensation:
If an infringement issue arises, our company assumes no liability and reserves the right to seek compensation from the sender for any losses caused to our company.
If customs seizes goods due to under-declaration, misrepresentation, infringement of intellectual property rights, non-compliance with the import requirements of the destination country, or local import bans, this is not covered by SRX compensation. Our company only assists the sender in providing customs clearance documents.
Claims will not be accepted if there are quality issues with the goods themselves or if they involve specific certification issues.
Claims will not be accepted in cases of force majeure, such as war or natural disasters, that result in damage or loss of goods.
SRX will not accept claims for overall transit delays caused by flight delays, customs clearance delays, or similar issues during transportation.
SRX Clarification on Handling Procedures for Damaged Goods:
If there are issues such as damage or loss with DHL/UPS/FEDEX/TNT shipments, the recipient must file a complaint with the destination service provider (DHL/UPS/FEDEX/TNT) within 48 hours of receipt. After the complaint is accepted, the destination service provider will provide a Reference Number. The sender's agent must use this Reference Number to file a claim with SRX; otherwise, the claim will not be processed.
For multimodal transport services, traditional sea freight to port services, or air freight to airport services, if the recipient notices any missing or damaged goods upon receipt or collection, they must obtain proof of loss or damage from the local delivery personnel or warehouse. Once the incident is confirmed, the goods should either be signed for or refused, and then the damage assessment can be completed before signing.
SRX Recommendation on Purchasing Insurance for High-Value Goods:
Proactively mitigating risks is also an important aspect of our work. As you are aware, the international logistics industry involves multiple stages, and our goods need to go through various channels before reaching the recipient's address abroad. Therefore, we recommend purchasing cargo insurance for high-value goods. This way, the minimal chance of goods being damaged or lost can be transferred to the insurance company. We believe that the recipient would also be willing to accept insurance services, which are not costly.
Clarification on Purchasing Transportation Insurance:
Insurance Companies: Pacific Insurance, Ping An Insurance, or other insurers as discussed.
Insurance Cost: Cargo value * 1.1 * 0.003 (The minimum insurance fee is 120 RMB per shipment, and any amount exceeding 120 RMB will be calculated based on the actual value. The currency is RMB). For example: Cargo value is 200,000 * 1.1 * 0.003 = 660.0 RMB.
1.1 is used because the insurance company has a 10% deductible per shipment, so we add 10% when purchasing insurance. 0.003 is the insurance fee, charged at 0.3% of the cargo value.
The insured beneficiary is by default the recipient. If it is necessary for the sender to be the insured beneficiary, this must be communicated separately. The insurance information must match the recipient information on the export documents, so the recipient information must be complete and accurate. If the recipient is a company, it must be a registered company locally, and the personal name must be complete (all names must be fully stated).
If the insured is an individual, the complete and valid name and correct ID number must be provided. If incomplete information is provided by the sender when purchasing insurance, resulting in the inability to make a claim after purchasing insurance, SRX does not assume any responsibility.
For any limitations or requirements regarding the insurance, please refer to the respective insurance company's guidelines.
Explanation of Insurance Coverage:
For shipments via Hong Kong UPS, FEDEX, TNT, DHL, EMS, ARAMEX channels, and mainland China DHL, UPS, FEDEX, TNT, EMS channels, the coverage extends from when the carrier picks up the goods until delivery to the destination address. Before pickup by the carrier, the standard is considered uninsured.
For shipments via various airlines (China Airlines, Finnair, China Southern Airlines, Emirates Airlines, Asia Airlines, British Airways, etc.), the coverage extends from when the flight departs from the origin airport until arrival at the destination airport. Before the flight departs, the standard is considered uninsured.
For sea freight services, either LCL (Less Container Load) or FCL (Full Container Load), the coverage extends from when the ship departs from the origin port until arrival at the destination port. Before the ship departs, the standard is considered uninsured.
For various dedicated line channels, insurance is not available for the initial transport service. Only the final third-party logistics pickup and delivery service can be insured. This requires separate communication with our staff.
Important Notes:
For complete shipment loss or partial loss of goods, the carriers or agents are typically aware of the situation and will provide documentation for the insurance company to process the claim.
For partial damage, it is best to check and identify it at the time of delivery, inform the delivery personnel on the spot, refuse the damaged portion, and contact the local carrier to obtain compensation documentation and a claim number to give to the sender. The sender then provides this to SRX staff, who will forward it to the insurance company. If partial damage is discovered after receipt, the local carrier typically accepts claims and investigates the cause within 3 working days. Once the investigation is complete, the carrier will determine the extent of the damage. If the damage claim is not filed within 3 working days of receipt, the carrier will not accept the investigation or compensation.
Purchasing insurance or choosing not to purchase insurance does not entail any liability on our part for the issues described above. The above detailed explanation is a standard policy, and we believe that other similar companies operate in the same manner. We provide this comprehensive information so that our customers fully understand. If you have any questions regarding the explanations provided by SRX, please do not entrust SRX with your shipments. If you have no objections to these explanations, it indicates your acceptance of these terms and limitations. If any issues cannot be resolved, we will address them through the People's Court of Bao'an District, Shenzhen.
